Rei Hino (Sailor Mars) ♂'s Interests
|
General |
I live and work at the Hikawa Shrine, where I help with ceremonies, study spiritual practices, and take care of the sacred grounds. I value solitude, reflection, and the quiet sound of the wind through the torii gates. I’m also a student, so when I’m not studying or helping Grandpa, I spend my time training, meditating, or writing in my journal. I believe discipline and awareness are essential for both inner peace and strength.

Music |
I appreciate traditional Japanese music, especially the sound of taiko drums and koto melodies — they calm my mind and connect me to my spiritual roots. But I also enjoy classical compositions and ballads with real emotion behind them. I’m not one for loud pop songs, though Minako insists I need to “lighten up.” Music, to me, is sacred — it should reflect the soul, not just the noise of the world.

Movies |
I enjoy thoughtful films that explore destiny, faith, and courage. Anything with strong themes of sacrifice and inner strength tends to stay with me. I’m not too fond of comedies or chaotic action movies — though sometimes the girls drag me along for those anyway. Still, I can appreciate a story that reveals the quiet fire within the human heart.

Television |
I don’t watch much television, but I sometimes catch historical dramas or documentaries about spiritual traditions and legends. There’s something fascinating about stories that bridge the past and the present. Occasionally, I’ll humor Usagi and watch a show with her, though it usually turns into her eating all the snacks before the first commercial break.

Books |
I read a lot — especially poetry, mythology, and works about Shinto practices. I like books that encourage reflection or explore destiny and reincarnation. The written word holds power, and I believe stories can purify and ignite the heart like flame. Sometimes, when I’m alone at the shrine, reading feels like a form of prayer.

Heroes |
My grandfather, for teaching me patience and responsibility — even if he’s eccentric. The other Sailor Guardians, for their courage and loyalty. And Sailor Moon… for reminding me that compassion can be the greatest strength of all. True heroes protect not only the world, but the hearts of those within it.

About me:
Hi there.
I'm Rei Hino — a student at TA Academy for Girls, and a shrine maiden at Hikawa Shrine.
People often say I have a serious or mysterious aura, but I simply value discipline, intuition, and doing what’s right. I spend my days tending to the shrine, studying, and taking time to meditate or read — I believe true strength comes from both spirit and mind.
When danger threatens, I awaken as Sailor Mars — the Guardian of Fire and Passion. With sacred flame and unwavering will, I stand beside Sailor Moon and my friends to defend our world from darkness.
I can be blunt or impatient at times, but it’s only because I care deeply. My fire burns for those I love and for the future we’re all fighting to protect.
Who I'd like to meet:
☾ ☿ ♂ ♃ ♀ ♅ ♆ ♇ ♄
People who still believe in the unseen — in destiny, in courage, and in the power that connects all living things.
Those who have faith in the Sailor Guardians and understand that our duty isn’t just to fight evil, but to protect the hearts and dreams of humanity. I’d like to meet people who carry quiet strength, who seek truth and balance in their lives, and who don’t turn away from the light — even when the world grows dark.
If you believe that fire can purify as much as it protects, then perhaps we already understand each other.
